DigitalFilipino.com Club networking event

Liveblogging here at the Davao leg of the DigitalFilipino.com CLub event here at the Grand Regal Hotel.

A lot of bloggers, newbie bloggers and soon to be bloggers. Glad to see all of them again!

It was a nice to be with fellow Davao bloggers again last night. Janette Toral, the author of the book “Blogging from Home” called on Davao Bloggers for a one night only event and more than 100 bloggers showed up last night at the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) Casino event area inside the Grand Regal hotel here in Davao.

As usual, where there are bloggers… expect lots of fun, food, Drinks (beer, iced tea, softdrinks, wine) and cam-whoring!!!! Let the pictures that i took using my nokia n82 show you how all who attended enjoyed this event.

When I arrived (before 6pm),  Dinner was already served. 

After a hearty dinner, Gwing’s favorite part of the event started… getting to know each other. After which, Janette gave a quick presentation. About the projects of the DigitalFilipino.com Club such as the 10 Emerging Inlfuential blogs Project where Blogie’s Davao Deli was part of the the top 10.

Then, a short video about the host of the event, PAGCOR. I’ll be doing a separate post about it. The Pagcor guys (management and staff) were all accommodating. They even raffled off some coupons for the poker and Baccarat games. Thanks guys for having us. 

Then, “all bloggers broke loose”.. hahahhaha!!! PARTY TIME!

Some bloggers joined the Poker Game. Brader drew won the first round but overall, Dulce was declared the grand winner of the game, Another blogger who i forgot his name (sorry) was second, and ate ria was third!

It was a great evening indeed. Again, thanks to Janette for conceptualizing the event and inviting Davao Bloggers. Thank you to PAGCOR for hosting the event.

I ended the evening by interviewing Lyle of Pinoy R.N. who is the first Dabawenyo whom i know with an iPhone. My interview with him will be posted on my tech/mobile blog, Migs Mobile Network.
