Davao Cosplay
There will be a cosplay event in Davao!
Cosplay : short for “costume play”, is a type of performance art whose participants outfit themselves, with often-elaborate costumes and accessories, as a specific character. Characters are usually sourced in various Japanese and East Asian media, including manga, anime, tokusatsu, comic books, graphic novels, video games, and fantasy movies. – Wikipedia
I’ve been only to two cosplay events in Manila… I wonder how cosplay in Davao will be like. =>
If you want to join as a cosplayer here are the mechanics and Just to reiterate what’s in the guidelines, “No cosplaying of hentai, ecchi, or any other provocative characters. This is a family event, so let’s keep things clean.”

Flippish.com is the official partner of SM Cyberzone for The First Nationwide SM Cyberzone Cosplay Tour, which happens this Saturday, August 14, 3:00 pm at the Events Center of SM Davao. This is the first competition for Filipino Cosplayers to be held at all SM Cyberzones all over the country that will be aired live via simultaneous web telecast! This is super fun because cosplayers get to compete in other parts of the country for the eliminations, and those who get into the finals have chance to compete either in SM Davao or in SM North Edsa in Manila!
