Bangkok Dangerous

November 26, 2008

In case you ahven’t heard yet, demonstrators stormed Bangkok’s International Airport forcing flight to and from bangkok to be cancelled.

The People’s Alliance for Democracy is leading thousands of protesters in taking control of the Suvarnabhumi International Airport in a move to force Prime Minister Somchai Wongsawat to step down because he is beleived to be the “puppet” of the former ousted Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra.

They have literally shut down the airport. Now passengers are stranded.

According to a news from Inquirer.net,  Filipinos are also part of those now stranded in the Airport.

News reports says, the Thai government is just waiting for the general public to get angry with the protesters and force them to stop the takeover. Ummm i juts hope it ends soon.

A lot of news and opinions are saying that this does not in any way hurt the current prime minister or his party.. This is more of a BIG blow to the economy of Bangkok and Thailand as a whole. Imagine.. shutting down your airport means hurting the business of some companies or even individuals. And last i checked, holding civilians and other tourists inside the airport is what you call illegal detention or kidnapping? Holding them against their will.

Oh well, its your country not mine.. I have lost of problems here in my country that even I can’t resolve!
