Shuttle to Eden Nature Park

October 26, 2008

One of the tourist spots here in Davao is Eden Nature Park or simply Eden.  I’ve been there several times already and it has also been part of the Davao Food Appreciation Tour.

It’s an hour or so ride coming from the city proper. And it is recommended that you have your own vehicle or rent one when you are going to this great place.

Not anymore…now, going to Eden is easier… with the help of “Eden Sakay Na” where a shuttle service will be waiting for you to bring you to Eden and back.

Ok so here’s how it works:

You need to book you trip to eden beforehand. This is to make sure that you’ll get a seat in the shuttle.

The pick-up point and drop-off point is Matina Town Square (MTS).

Trip Schedules and fares are as follows:

Saturday: P200.00

  • Batch 1: MTS to EDEN – 8:30am | EDEN to MTS – 1:30 pm
  • Batch 2: MTS to EDEN – 11:00am | EDEN to MTS – 4:00 pm

Sunday: P200.00

  • MTS to EDEN – 9:30 am | EDEN to MTS (no specific time)

Weekdays (Mondays to Fridays): P1,500

  • Special Trip (roundtrip MTS-EDEN-MTS)

The weekday fare of P1,500 is like renting a van. I think there’s only a few people going to Eden during these days. So if there’s only 3 of you who will be going to Eden, then you’ll have to share the fee. But you’re a group planning to go there on a weekday, then the fare will be less expensive per person. Still, that P1,500 fare is cheap.. coz it will be like renting a van. You can also ask the driver to bring you right in the doorsteps of your home and just give a “tip” to the driver.

This is a great move by Eden. This will boost the number of customers that they have. I just hope they would be able to cater the number of people who would like to go there and not give a “sorry we’re full” answer to their customers.

I hope other tourist destinations here in the Davao Region would offer simillar services.

So for bookings, call 299-1020, 296-0791, 299-0313 | 0918-930-7590 | or email
