Crocodile Park in Davao

January 4, 2008

The Davao Crocodile Park is an establishment that showcases a ‘state of the art’ crocodile farming system in the Philippines. It has the most recent crocodile farm design equipped with modern facilities and equipments. The presence of other exotic animal species like raptors, monkeys, bearcats, snakes, birds, and other reptiles makes it one of the most desired tourist destinations in Davao.

I’ve been to the park thrice now… and for sure i’ll keep coming back.. Not for the crocs ok? But for the friends who would like to see the park.

Its one of the “to go to” destinations here in Davao City.

During Saturdays and Sundays, they have a program we’re you’ll see the following:

Dancing Crocs

The crocodile dancing is that part of the show wherein we showcase the leaping ability of these crocodylians. It shows us how the crocodile uses its strong tail to propel themselves up, making it look like their doing a certain dance.

Snack time

Fat Fat Fat croc

I thought this guy was gonna jump inside.. Turns out he was just getting some leverage. :p

Crocodile Encounter

This one is the biggest (and most feared) croc in the farm.

And these men are inside to show everyone how fierce this croc is..

Actually its part of teh show, called croc encounter.

The crocodile encounter is showing to the people how a crocodile would react in a wild once we invade their territory or their life is threatened.

Here’s a view of the pool..

There are other animals in the Park

Ang sweet nila oh…

Hey Sexy..

The baby tiger is cute!

The eagle has landed

Snake on a Cage

I can see you!

They let some of these other animals out and allow people to mingle with them.

This is the announcer/commentator..

Some of these crocs and other animals were brought to Manila for a road show.

Hi, we were there last May 30th to see what’s in there. Our kids did had fun and enjoyed the show. On our way home, unluckily lost my Ipod touch, I thought I won’t recover it anymore. With the help of your good hearted and honest security guard I got my ipod back. A million thanks to him/them. I salute you SG Alviola,RD and Operations manager Alejandro A Uyanguren for your honesty.
Davao Crocodile Park is lucky to have you as an employee. Keep up the good work.
