My New Year Celebration
As always, you won’t be able to get me off the TV during new year’s eve. I always watch the news and the countdowns.
Nothing beats spending the Holidays with your loved ones!
Mom cooked a lot of stuff (as usual even though she’ll only feed 5 mouths).
Ang handa ni Mom!
Ang masarap na Kakanin! (pramis.. masarap!)
Hindi mawawala ang more than 12 fruits ni mother!
Ang buttered hipon
The third cake (yeah you heard it right, third.. may ube cake and another black forest cake..)
Bawang (garlic). Mom said someone told her to place this on the dining table.. Symbolizes Happiness! Ok…
Oh, i thought that firecrackers are already banned here in Marikina, But I still saw a lot of my neighbors throw out and waste their money on firecrackers. I think this is just the start of the campaign to really get rid of the deadly firecrackers here in the City.
I was watching the mid day news a while ago and i saw the Department of Health secretary reporting to the public that holiday incidents dropped by 46%. Whoah! that’s great news!
I really hope we could ban firecrackers from our homes. Not Firework/pyrotechnic products ok?
Have a Prosperous, safe, Healthy, and Happy new year!!!!new year, 2008
