People’s Park In Davao

December 26, 2007

Yesterday I checked out the People’s Park (formerly known as PTA Park) here in Davao.

Outside the park, vendors have sprung like mushrooms.

The entrance:

The 4 hectare park is divided into several areas.

The Durian Dome

Its not yet finished…

The Fun Park

The Open Park/Plaza

The Pond

The pine tree area (Green Lawn)

The water falls

Rest a bit…

The paths inside the Park are also different.

It seems that the park, though newly opened, needs some renovation…

Restroom:

Keep the park clean!

Vandalisms?

Nope. Those writings explains about the Earth.

Some statues that you’ll see inside the park:

Hmmm.. why does the statues look like kokey?

Exiting the Park:

The exit point is different from where you entered.

Its a very nice park.

You won’t find this in Manila.

Oh, it is reported that this park costs 72 million pesos!
