Two Voice of Mcdonald’s Finalists from Davao Del Sur
14 finalists were chosen among 3,600 hopefuls from 53 countries who joined the second Voice of Mcdonald’s Singing Competition!
Voice of McDonald’s II is a worldwide contest to discover, recognize and reward the most talented singers among the more than 1.6 million crew and managers working in McDonald’s restaurants.
And two of the finalists comes from Davao Del Sur! Mary Margaret Yu and Paulina Susan Bacarat.
Paulina sang True Colors while Margaret sang Son of a Preacher man.
Pinoys dominated this second Voice of Mcdonald’s contest. Aside from the two lovely ladies, another pinoy Candido Revilles, made it as a finalist and shall be representing Canada.
Global finalists chosen from every McDonald’s Area of the World will each win a trip for two to the McDonald’s Worldwide Convention in Orlando, Florida, to compete for the first prize of $25,000. The second prize winner will receive $10,000, and the third prize winner will receive $5,000. Other finalists will each win $1,500. All finalists will also win $500 for his or her restaurant and a $1,000 contribution in his or her name to their local Ronald McDonald House® Charity or other children’s charity.
