As i’ve said in my previous post, getting to Camp Sabros is somewhat easy. Because you only have to follow the road going to Kidapawan. Once you see the sign below, then you need are near the Y road. Turn right..

Then the not far from there you will see a road on your right again. There are 2 ways to get here.. by private vehicle or by taking the commuter bus. But if you have a helicopter, why not?

Commuting

If you are coming from Davao City, take the bus to Kidapawan. I think their terminal is at ecoland.. I’m not sure about the fare.. I hope my readers would be able to provide this info.

Just go straight.. follow the road (again). there will be ruf ruf ruf roads ahead so brace yourself.

You’ll know when you are now in Kapatagan when you see this sign..

You’ll stop at the check-point and if you brought a vehicle with you, you can park it beside the tourist assistance center which didn’t give us any assistance.

you can bring your vehicle with you… but i suggest not to… Trekking up camp sabros is part of the fun!

But, if you cant really climb uphill, then you can ride a motorbike..

There are also horses (yes live ones) at camp sabros.. but you can only ride them when you approach the area with pines trees.

And then you’ll know when you are now at Camp Sabros when you see this:

Some more reminders when going to Camp Sabros..

• Bring water. To be used during your travel and climb to sabros
• Check the weather. Don’t go during raining days. You’ll have a hard time going to sabros.
• Sabros opens at around 8am. If you are coming from Davao City, leave davao at 6am.
• Pack light.. but bring some spare clothes.
• Prepare to FLY!
