Museo Dabawenyo

One of the first places that i visit in a new city or town is the museum. Coz its where someone will have a quick and bigger picture about that place.
Here in Davao City, there are two museums. There is the old Davao Museum at Insular Village and the Museo Dabawenyo, which was opened last March during the Araw ng Dabaw.

Unlike other museums, this one is a bit small for a big city like Davao. However, it is a home to a large and rich culture that is Davao!

The Museo Dabawenyo is Divided into 4 rooms:
I’ll be doing different posts about these galleries.
Museo Dabawenyo is open from Tuesday to Sunday (good thing they are open on Sundays!) from 9am to 6pm. Monday is their maintenance day. They are also closed during the following holidays:

Museo Dabawenyo is located along Magallanes St. which is at the back of Davao City Hall. It is in front of the monument of Andres Bonifacio (rotonda).

It’s good to know that there is a preservation of Culture and Arts in Davao, I fully support on tourism and development in my hometown. I’m proud to be a Davaoeno. Visit you soon!
